- Student Involvement Leadership Consultants, or SILCs, are bright, motivated UC San Diego students committed to sharing our leadership and involvement experience to serve the UCSD community on whole. Our mission is to provide the University of California, San Diego student organizations with direct services to assist in their operations and to provide the campus-wide student population with consultation regarding student involvement and leadership opportunities.
